The small bicycle manufacturer Tunesi were located at Torette in Cornaredo and made some bicycles in the 1970s and 1980s, where today Bennet is now located. A small company that produced a limited number of quality steel bicycles.

Giovanni 'Vanni' Losa the frame builder from Vittuone near to Milan, has left his distinctive markings on this Tunesi Record Classic Road Bicycle, namely the refined triangular cutouts on the lugs and underneath the bottom bracket with a "V" shape to symbolise his nickname 'Vanni' and the teardrop shaped cutouts on the underside of the chromed lugs. A skilled frame builder most famous for working with Cinelli from the 1990s up until 2008 crafting the Supercorsa frames. He also worked with smaller brands including Tunesi, Turconi, Pep Magni and Poretti, building their top of line, refined models.

This Tunesi Record from the mid 1970s is in fine condition with all original paint and decals, the bright orange paint and chromed lugs still gleaming.

Equipped with Campagnolo Record shifting, with a Pantographed Crankset that matches the forks T pantographed details as well as Universal brakes and levers in good condition. The 3ttt cockpit has been changed to a relatively long stem at 115mm and wide bar at 42mm making it super comfortable for a broader rider, and with a classic blue leather tape which compliments the strong orange of the frame perfectly.

Weighing in at just 9.1kg without pedals, the bike has been checked and tested and is ready for an Eroica event or vintage weekend rides!
